That is the whole headline, and the rest of this page exists to show what sits underneath it — including the two things we do charge a percentage for, so you find out here rather than on your first invoice. All amounts exclude VAT.
In the United States and Mexico the same plan is billed as $20/month — the same number, in your own currency, with the same unlimited chargers and the same 0% session commission. The figures below are the euro list used in Europe.

Operators who already run a different platform can join the roaming Hub over OCPI 2.2 for €10/month + 1% per session. One OCPI integration reaches every member — against the €5,000 joining fees and multi-month integrations that are normal at the large hubs.

Neither is required. The platform is designed to be set up without them, and most operators do.
If your charger has been out of service for a month or more because the platform that ran it shut down, stopped supporting it or the contract ended, the rescue costs you nothing: 3 months free (instead of the 30-day trial) and basic configuration on us (€60 value). We help you connect it over the phone or a video call, with you or with your installer. Write to info@askacharge.com with the make, the model and where it is.
The honest part: we do it remotely, we do not travel. And if your manufacturer locks the OCPP server setting, we tell you before we start. After the 3 months it is the normal monthly plan or nothing: there is no contract.
If your charger follows OCPP 1.6J or 2.0.1 and doesn't connect to askacharge.com because of something on our side, we fix it within 48 business hours of you writing to info@askacharge.com with the charger's identity. If we don't, you get 12 months of software fee free (if you're on a trial, they start when it ends).
"Follows OCPP" means the WebSocket handshake follows RFC 6455 and its messages validate against the official Open Charge Alliance schemas. You can check it yourself on the test server, which uses those schemas and the same handshake as production.
The honest part: if the fault is the charger's (something the standard doesn't allow), we don't bend the server to that firmware, but we tell you exactly what it breaks and which section of the specification, so you can pass it to the manufacturer. If the manufacturer locks the OCPP setting, no platform can connect it. Security profile 3 (client certificate) isn't supported yet, so it's not covered. The 12 months are the software fee: they don't include hosting, domain, or the fees on QR payments and the hub.
Two things, and only these two:
If you take no card payments and do not join the Hub, €20/month is the complete cost of running your network on askacharge.com.
Software €20 + managed hosting €15 + own domain €5 = €40/month, whatever the chargers earn. If guests pay by QR, a €10 session costs €0.45 in gateway fees and the rest lands in the hotel's account.
Still €40/month — the software price does not move with the number of chargers. A platform priced per charger at a typical €5–15 per point would be €125–375/month for the same network, before any session commission.
Ten independent brands, each with its own logo, colours, domain and driver portal, from one account: ten subscriptions, €200/month in platform cost. What the installer charges each client is their own decision — the platform bills those clients recurring SaaS fees under the installer's name, not ours.
