Step by step

Open Autel Config (or Autel Charge), scan the QR code in the manual or on the RFID card sleeve to bind the charger (serial number + PIN) and pair over Bluetooth.
Set up the internet connection first: Wi-Fi, Ethernet or APN if it has 4G. Update the firmware from the menu.
Go to OCPP Server. The default is Autel Cloud; choose another provider / manual configuration.
Enter your brand's URL on askacharge.com (below). The charge point identity is the charger's serial number (starts with AE…): register it exactly like that in the panel.

Password	Blank by default. If you enable the charger's OCPP credential in the panel (recommended for units exposed to the internet), the username is the identity and the password is the one the panel generates: OCPP Security Profile 2.
Protocol	OCPP 1.6J (JSON) or OCPP 2.0.1. Subprotocol `ocpp1.6` / `ocpp2.0.1`.

Where it usually fails
