Where the setting lives (there is no URL field)
There is no field to type the URL. Connecting to another platform is done in the Enphase app: Menu → Settings → IQ EV Charger → Partner Integration, where you pick a platform from the list. A platform that is not on that list cannot receive the charger. European platforms document it this way: "the IQ EV Charger doesn't use an OCPP URL. You select a partner from a list instead."
What you can do today
- Open the Enphase app with an account that owns the site and go to Menu → Settings → IQ EV Charger → Partner Integration.
- If the platform you want is on the list, select it and authorise access. The platform receives the charger's request and identifies it by serial number.
- If it is not, there is no way to connect it today: no web interface and no manual field. askacharge.com is not on that list as of 7 October 2026.
- If the charger is for a business and you have not bought it yet, ask in writing whether the OCPP URL is editable by the owner. "OCPP compatible" does not answer that question.
- If Enphase opens a URL field or adds us to the list, this page changes the same day. It is dated in the header.
Where it usually fails
- Enphase maintains the partner list and it changes: some platforms keep the charger "pre-registered" while they wait to be added.
- You need owner access to the site in the Enphase app; the installer alone is not enough.
- "Speaks OCPP" and "you can choose the server" are two different things. This is a good example.
If your brand isn't here
The procedure is always the same; what changes is where the setting lives: look in the manufacturer's app, in the charger's web interface (by its IP) or in the installer software for a section called OCPP, Back office, Central System or Server. You need to be able to enter the URL and, nearly always, the identity. If the field is locked or missing, the manufacturer has tied the charger to its own platform: read what to do when the manufacturer locks or switches off its server.
