How to change the OCPP server URL on your charger, brand by brand
An OCPP charger does not belong to the platform that sold it: it belongs to you. Switching software means changing one URL. These guides say where that setting lives on each brand, what to enter and where people get stuck. Each one is checked against the manufacturer's or its distributors' documentation, linked at the end.

What you need before touching anything
- Access to the setting. The manufacturer's app with your account, the charger's web interface (by its IP) or installer software. Some (Alfen) need the owner password the installer holds.
- Your platform's URL, the charger identity and its password. On askacharge.com, Chargers → Add shows the full URL and the password ready to copy; the password is required (Security Profile 2) and is shown only that once.
- The charger registered on the platform with that identity, before changing the URL: otherwise the server rejects the connection and it looks as if the URL is wrong.
- Stable internet at the charger: 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with good signal, Ethernet, or a SIM with the right APN. Most "it won't connect" cases are this.

If your brand isn't here
The procedure is always the same; what changes is where the setting lives: look in the manufacturer's app, in the charger's web interface (by its IP) or in the installer software for a section called OCPP, Back office, Central System or Server. You need to be able to enter the URL and, nearly always, the identity. If the field is locked or missing, the manufacturer has tied the charger to its own platform: read what to do when the manufacturer locks or switches off its server.
